Yesterday Carson discovered the world of the mp3 player. I had to snap a pic of him, lost in the music. I'm really glad that my kids love music. Devin, so far, is the biggest music lover of them all. He likes a lot of the same music that I like. We are the same in lots of ways. Probably why we have a hard time getting along. :)

Mom lost her mind, Devin lost his hair
Hello, what was I thinking? Today I finally got around to buzzing Devin's hair. Well somehow as I was going over his head with the shaver, the guard came off and zzzzzzzzzt. Big bald spot. So I kind of figured, what the heck, I'll just totally shave it all, no guard. Aaaaaaaaaaah! When I finished and looked at him, I wanted to cry. He, of course, loves it. Rob thinks it's hilarious. Zach said it makes him want to throw up. Thank goodness it will grow out fast!

Zach is 6!
Well today was Zach's big b-day. I really can't believe he's six. It really does seem like I just gave birth to this kid. He will always be my "babiest" baby I think. He had "the best birthday ever" according to him. He got new Heelys which are super expensive rollerskating shoes that I call Wheelies and Devin has to correct me. We took him to Hop To It with a friend and then to Arctic Circle and then home for cake and ice cream. It was a fun day. I really try to make my kids' birthdays super duper fun days. I hope they think they're as fun as I try to make them!

I'll give it a shot.
Well I am finally going to try this thing called blogging although I thought I never would. I can't escape the fact that it's a great way to scrapbook without scrapbooking. Sort of. So here goes...
We are now living in cozy little Kimberly Idaho as of about 5 months ago. I think we are finally starting to call this place home and get comfy. It helps that the kids have made some good friends and even I have made some good friends. Although we definitely miss our wonderful family and friends we left behind in Nampa. It is fun living in a small town where everybody knows everybody (so far). I joined the cute little "Kimberly Fitness Center" a few months ago and I have to say that has helped me to like it here even more. I take Devin and Zach to school then head down the street with Carson to aerobics. There's a little play room where the owner of the gym can watch the kids for no added cost to me. Carson loves it. He makes sure I get there most days. It has proven to be a VERY good thing for this mother to do on a regular basis, for the sake of all family members.
